I’m a massive fan of Harry Potter (Harry Potter accompanied pretty much the complete second decade of my life), so I was really excited when I heard that there will be a concert with music from the movies; there was no chance I was going to miss that. The aptly named “Magical Film Orchestra and Choir” played the concert, and beautifully put together imagery was being shown in the background during the performances. A very nice surprise was that a few actors from the movies — Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley), Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson), Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle), and Tolga Safer (Igor Karkaroff’s assistant) — were also present on stage and discussed some of their experiences of filming the movies. Chris Rankin was acting as a moderator of the event and even sang “Do the Hippogriff” at the end of the concert. One can say it was a truly magical evening; really special and definitely worth the visit.
Here are some photos I took during the event.
