Amon Amarth Concert, Cologne, July 2023

I’ve been a casual Amon Amarth fan for a long time (I first heard about them back when I was in high school), so I was excited when I found out that they’re coming to Cologne and didn’t want to miss the chance to finally seem them live. They were as good as I expected them to be: the band performance was great and the stage show as a whole made this an even more interesting concert, as there were inflatable statues on the stage and occasional actors having viking “fights”; all of it very fun to see.

Bleed from Within was the supporting band at the concert. I’d not heard of them before, but I found them to be very good, both musically and as entertainers. Some photos from their performance are given below.
