Freiburg, March 2023

I was shortly in Freiburg to support my colleagues at a conference; since I’d not visited the city before, I used my free time to explore the old town a little bit. The old town felt very quaint — I’d say Freiburg is pretty exceptional among German cities in this respect.

Archeological museum

During the stay, I also spent a short time in the archeological museum. The museum is not very large, but has a nice collection of exhibits, including some skeletons and soldier outfits. A few interesting photos are given below.
