Drachenfels, August 2020

I’ve been in the Bonn region for a long time, but I had not been to Drachenfels up until this point. When the COVID-19 rules were relaxed a bit after the first lockdown, some friends and I decided to finally go there (as they hadn’t visited either). The place is definitely worth a visit (lives up to the hype); the hike there is also very nice (we walked both up and down so we can see as much of the surroundings as possible).

First of all, here’s a selfie of me and my friends in front of the castle:

Here are some photos taken on the road to Drachenfels and of the castle itself.

The visit ended with a nice coffee (in Hans im Glück, as can be seen from the cup figurine).
