Arch Enemy concert, Gothenburg, November 2025

This was my first concert after moving to Gothenburg, and I was really excited to see Arch Enemy again after three years. Overall, it was a great evening (that I could enjoy right in front of the stage).

Gatecreeper

The first supporting band at the concert was Gatecreeper. I’d never heard of them before, but I really enjoyed their set; it was a great opening of the evening.

Eluveitie

Eluveitie was the next band of the evening. I actually used to listen to them quite a bit many years ago; even though I somehow stopped at some point, I was happy to see them live for once. I can safely say that they were amazing: The energy of the performance was really high, and it was great to hear their classic songs performed live. A real highlight among the supporting bands.

Amorphis

Amorphis followed Eluveitie. They are not a band I listen to, but their set was enjoyable (I particularly had a lot of fun observing their guitarist during the performance).

Arch Enemy

Finally, it was time for Arch Enemy. There’s not much more I can say than that they’re an absolute delight, and Alissa’s energy is unmatched.

I am writing this post quite a bit later than the actual concert, so little did I know that the event would actually be quite monumental: This was my last chance to see Arch Enemy with Alissa. So, I am super grateful to have been there.
